Day 2: Lima: Leaving Our Mark, A Journey with Purpose
Our first day begins at dawn in Villa El Salvador, where we'll reflect on the power of social tourism and how Traces aims to create a positive impact. We'll walk through the Murals of Memory, which are testimonials of the community's struggle, and visit an artisan workshop to understand how art drives change. The morning will conclude with a reflection on our contribution to children's education and quality of life.
In the afternoon, we'll venture to Callao Monumental, a space where transformation is palpable. Where the shadow of fear once loomed, color and hope now flourish, driven by young artists. We'll explore the impressive murals and graffiti—an urban canvas that tells the story of Callao's new identity. This part of the tour will be led by local guides, young people who represent change and the future.
From a terrace with views of the majestic Pacific Ocean and to the contagious rhythm of salsa, the music that locals are passionate about, we'll take a moment for reflection. We'll contemplate how art and youth empowerment are rewriting Callao's history.
Finally, we'll return to our hotels, carrying with us not only visual memories but also deep reflections and the certainty that, through experiences like these, we are leaving marks that last forever.
Day 3: Buggies and Sandboarding: Your Dose of Desert Thrills!
We're leaving the city of Lima with the promise of a day that will ignite our senses. The bus ride to the coast and Ica is just a prelude to what awaits us: a pure adrenaline encounter at the legendary Huacachina oasis. Imagine the roar of the engines as we board the 4x4 buggies, ready to challenge the imposing dunes that rise like mountains of sand. Feel the excitement with every climb and the rush of pure euphoria on the high-speed descents. And then, sandboarding: launch yourself to conquer the slopes, feeling the sand glide beneath your board in a dance of freedom. This isn't just an activity; it's an injection of life into the heart of the desert, an experience where you'll leave more than a footprint in the sand—you'll leave an indelible mark on your adventurous spirit. After the desert adventure, we'll return to Huacachina, and those who wish can join in to enjoy the lively local nightlife, dancing to Latin rhythms and sharing moments that strengthen group bonds.

Day 6: Weaving Connections and Shaping Dreams with Andean Communities
Today, after a nourishing breakfast in Cusco, we will embark on a journey that goes beyond conventional tourism, immersing ourselves in the authenticity of Andean communities with deeply rooted ancestral traditions.
Our first stop will be Ccacacollo, a vibrant Andean community organized and led by entrepreneurial women. They will welcome us with open arms and proudly share how their collective work in ancestral textile art—passed down from generation to generation—not only preserves a millennia-old tradition but also drives the development and well-being of their Andean village. We will witness their skill in transforming natural fibers into beautiful creations—an art form that is both the heart of their economy and a living expression of their ancestral identity.
We will continue to Cuyo Chico, where we’ll experience the ancient practice of pottery-making alongside local artisans. We’ll shape our own clay pieces, connecting directly with a tradition of deep cultural significance in the Andean world.
After sharing a lunch full of authentic flavors, we’ll marvel at the unique landscape of the Maras salt ponds, where artisanal salt extraction continues to support local families and preserve age-old techniques. Finally, we’ll explore the enigmatic Moray agricultural terraces, a testament to Incan agricultural wisdom and their deep ancestral connection to the land.
We’ll end the day in the Sacred Valley, where we will spend the night and recharge for the journey ahead.

After breakfast in the Sacred Valley, the morning offers an optional excursion to the ruins of Ollantaytambo, a deep dive into Inca history. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace can explore the beautiful town of Ollantaytambo on their own. Later, we'll take a short trip to a hidden lagoon, a calm body of water where the adventure continues with a search for piranhas and observation of the rich birdlife frequenting its shores. As evening falls, we'll return to the comfort of our lodge, carrying with us the sights and sounds of an intense day of exploration.
The night will invite us to a new adventure: we'll navigate the dark waters of the Tambopata River in search of imposing black caimans, whose shining eyes will reflect our flashlights in the darkness. This nocturnal boat trip will offer a different perspective on jungle life.
