Traces Experience Payment Policy

At TRACES, we aim to provide transparent, safe, and reliable payment conditions for every traveler. Please review the following policies carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Booking & Deposit

Your trip is confirmed once TRACES receives a non-refundable initial deposit of 30% of the total package price.
This deposit secures accommodations, transportation, activities, and all services included in your itinerary.

2. Final Payment

The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the start of the trip, unless otherwise specified for customized itineraries.

If final payment is not received by the deadline, TRACES reserves the right to cancel the booking according to our Terms & Conditions.

3. Accepted Payment Methods

We offer secure payment options for your convenience:

  • Credit or debit card

  • Bank transfer

  • Virtual Wallets: Yape / Plin (Peru)

All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted systems.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the TRACES corporate email.
Refunds and penalties follow our official Terms & Conditions:

  • More than 60 days before travel: Loss of the non-refundable deposit.

  • 30–59 days before travel: Loss of deposit + 50% of remaining payments.

  • Less than 30 days before travel or No Show: 100% of the total package cost is non-refundable.

Please note: Certain services—such as Inca Trail permits or non-refundable airfare—cannot be refunded under any circumstance.

5. Modifications & Rescheduling

Changes to your booking must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and provider policies.

  • No changes are allowed within 10 days of departure.

  • Modifications may result in additional costs depending on supplier conditions.

6. Force Majeure

In cases of unforeseen events (such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or safety concerns), TRACES may modify or cancel the itinerary.
If this occurs before the trip begins, you will be offered:

  • Rescheduling: Apply 50% of your paid amount to a future tour.

  • Partial Refund: Receive 40% of the amount paid, if the trip cannot proceed.

If the interruption occurs during the trip, refunds will be calculated based on unused services and supplier recovery.

TRACES is not responsible for additional costs such as international flights or extra hotel nights.

7. Optional Services

Any optional or additional activities not included in your package are booked under the full responsibility of the external provider.
TRACES is not liable for damages, injuries, or inconveniences arising from participation in these third-party services.
