ESNNA Code (Protection of Children and Adolescents)
At TRACES, we uphold a strong and unwavering commitment to the protection of children and adolescents from sexual exploitation in travel and tourism (ESNNA). Every journey is an opportunity to uplift, never to harm.
Our commitment includes:
1. Zero Tolerance
We do not allow, promote, or overlook any action that may endanger the physical, emotional, or sexual integrity of minors. We operate under a strict zero-tolerance policy.
2. Continuous Training
Our team receives ongoing training on protection protocols, prevention, and appropriate response procedures in cases involving potential ESNNA risks.
3. Responsible Partner Selection
We work exclusively with providers, accommodations, guides, and community partners who comply with ethical and legal child-protection standards.
4. Reporting Procedures
Any sign of risk or inappropriate behavior triggers our internal reporting mechanisms. We immediately notify the relevant authorities, following national and international regulations.
5. Ethical Communication
We never use images of minors without explicit consent. All of our communication respects their dignity, privacy, and well-being.
6. Traveler Awareness
Our travelers receive clear guidelines on how to respectfully interact with children and adolescents in local communities, avoiding any behavior that may violate their rights or privacy.
